August 3, 2020 SSBmarket

Choosing the location for your new home can be daunting. As well as the actual home you choose, the location you are going to live in is extremely important. Your lifestyle will obviously have an impact on what areas you are looking at, but it is helpful to know what your options are. The following suburbs are currently the 8 hotspot suburbs in Perth, each of them offering attractive lifestyles.

Alkimos

If you are looking for an affordable beachside lifestyle, then look no further than Alkimos. Alkimos is a coastal suburb of Perth, only 40km from the central business district, and 15km from Joondalup. Featuring lush green parks, new schools and shops, and an enviable beach lifestyle.

Baldivis

For a location that is affordable and has convenient transport options, Baldivis ticks all the boxes. Baldivis is a semi-rural residential suburb located just over 40km from the Perth CBD, and 11km from Rockingham. It has quickly become one of the most sought after property locations south of the river. Featuring a bustling and vibrant town centre, a wide variety of shops, easy access to transport, and the Baldivis Nature Reserve.

Brabham

If you are looking for a location with country vibes, then Brabham is the perfect choice. Brabham is located approximately 20km from the Perth CBD, and is part of the City of Swan. The Swan valley is just around the corner, which also means that a wide choice of wineries and eateries will be on your doorstep.

Midvale

If living an easy 10 minute drive to the Swan Valley is appealing to you, then Midvale is the perfect location for your new home. Midvale is 25 minutes drive to the Perth CBD, and offers residents a quintessential suburban lifestyle. With numerous public open spaces, and the Perth Hills only minutes away, Midvale is a well connected place to live.

Dawesville

If living a coastal lifestyle appeals to you, Dawesville should be top of your list. Dawesville is located just 20 minutes from Mandurah, and is situated between the Indian Ocean and the Peel Inlet. With boating, fishing and bushwalking all easily accessible, there will always be something to keep you entertained in Dawesville, and it is surprisingly affordable.

Morley

If you like the suburban lifestyle but still want to be able to get to the CBD easily, you need to check out Morley. Morley is located 10km northeast of the Perth CBD. It is home to one of Perth’s biggest commercial shopping centres, Centro Galleria, and is only 8km to the airport.

Cloverdale

If living close to the city and the airport is high on your list of priorities, Cloverdale will tick all the boxes. Cloverdale is only 10km from the CBD, and 5km to the airport, making it a great option for FIFO workers. There are a number of parks, schools and community facilities located in the area.

Wellard

For affordable living options, and great access to transport, consider building in Wellard. Wellard is Perth’s first transit-oriented development on the Perth to Mandurah rail line. Mandurah is 20 minutes away, and the CBD is 30 minutes. Bus services are also available to take you directly to the centre of Kwinana or Rockingham.
